ABOUT
Hi, I’m Erin!
I'm a licensed therapist based in Dallas, Texas, specializing in OCD, anxiety, and life transitions. I work primarily with college students and young adults who are deep in the messy middle of figuring themselves out.
I became a therapist because I know what it's like to live in a brain that doesn't quiet down. As somebody who lives with OCD, I have a personal understanding of what it’s like to endure the incessant thoughts, the worst case scenarios…to look up 30 minutes later and realize you’ve been ruminating on what it meant that your brain just had that thought.
My approach is warm and direct. I'll challenge you when I think it's useful, sit with you in allll the discomfort and uncertainty, and be your biggest cheerleader as we navigate the inevitable ups and downs! I am a firm believer that if I’m asking you to bring your whole self to session, I should too. I never want therapy to feel cold, stoic, or disconnected.
When I'm not in session, you'll find me in Lake Highlands with my Irish Setter, Rory, spending time at the lake with family and friends, or on Open Table or Resy trying to get a reservation at that new restaurant everyone’s raving about.

SPECIALTIES
What we work on together
Every person who walks in is navigating something specific. Here's where I have the deepest training and experience.
OCD
OCD is exhausting — the loops, the doubt, the rituals that promise relief but never quite deliver. Using evidence-based ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), we work to break the cycle and build real tolerance for uncertainty, not just manage it.
Anxiety
Anxiety lies to you. It tells you the worst will happen, that you're not enough, that you need certainty before you can move. Therapy helps you build a different relationship with anxious thoughts — one where they don't have to run the show.
Life Transitions
Graduations, new cities, career changes, relationship shifts — transitions can feel like loss even when they're wanted. This is space to grieve what's ending, figure out who you're becoming, and move forward with some clarity.
